VFDs convert a basic fixed-frequency, fixed voltage line power into a variable frequency, variable-voltage output used to much more effectively control speed, torque, and direction of induction motors. VFD’s also have options such as disconnect means, bypass types, and more.

Elevator Disconnects

A customer needed four elevator shunt trip disconnects immediately. Lead time from Bussman/Eaton was 4-5 weeks. We supplied our enclosed circuit breaker with shunt trip and auxiliaries in a pad-lockable handle as per elevator code. We built from stock and delivered the next day. Our enclosed circuit breakers can be used as elevator shunt trip disconnects. We assemble a circuit breaker, shunt trip, and integral auxiliaries in a NEMA 12 pad-lockable enclosure with a throwing handle as per code. While the above units are enclosed circuit breakers, we can also supply fusible units with fire alarm safety interface relays, pilot lights, key test switches, and other commonly built accessories.

These outdoor power distribution skids were custom manufactured at our facility in Hanover, MD with Hammond 45kVA, 75kVA, and 500kVA transformers.
