16 transformers ranging from 45kVA to 500kVA

A customer was beginning a two-year job at a local healthcare campus. They needed over 16 transformers ranging from 45kVA to 500kVA. All units were stepping down 480V Delta to 120/208V Wye. They used recon/tested units from our stock that helped save thousands of dollars for the temporary two-year installation. Our impressive stock of transformers ranges from small 50VA control transformers to large 3-phase 500 KVA units. We stock new and reconditioned units, so you’re in control of all costs. Our transformers are fully inspected, tested, and warrantied for one year. We also stock accessories like weather shields and lug kits. For any special order transformers, we can also drop-ship units direct from the factory with a lead time

UL 891 Custom Switchboard For A Solar Farm

A solar farm in Winchester, Virginia needed 1600A outdoor switchgear and lead time was critical. The sooner they could get the gear on the ground, the sooner the farm could begin operations, driving revenue for the facility.

We manufactured this 3PH 1600A outdoor switchgear in 4 weeks. All production was completed in-house, from 3D modeling, submittal package, bill of materials, and all manufactured components.

For this specific switchgear section, we used the GE Powerbreak II fixed bolt in main breaker, and GE Spectra branch breakers. The switchgear was also equipped with control wiring and an Arc-Flash Reduction System, or "Maintenance mode" as it is also known in the field.

40 Years Old Pringle Switch Reconditioning

A local facility was powered by gear over 40 years old. When the pringle switch suffered damage on the C phase, the customer scheduled an outage for a week-long duration while the facility was closed. We reconditioned the entire pringle switch and delivered the unit back to the facility in time for opening day. Our reconditioning process gave the switch a new life of at least an additional 10-13 years and prevented the facility from replacing thousands of dollars of gear. Pringle switches are critical main disconnects that often fail when the handle does not reset or parts get damaged over years of use. We can provide multiple options to consider - replace with new or reconditioned, or repair existing switch.
