A customer needed a 3P 4000A 600V 200kAIC Eaton Magnum DSX draw-out circuit breaker to replace a unit that was creating nuisance tripping. We got a call on Saturday AM and delivered the reconditioned/tested breaker nine hours later during the weekend. We have in-house capabilities to repair, recondition, and field modify large circuit breakers up to 6000 amps. We can supply these units for scheduled outages or critical power emergencies after hours on nights and weekends.

A local facility was powered by gear over 40 years old. When the pringle switch suffered damage on the C phase, the customer scheduled an outage for a week-long duration while the facility was closed. We reconditioned the entire pringle switch and delivered the unit back to the facility in time for opening day. Our reconditioning process gave the switch a new life of at least an additional 10-13 years and prevented the facility from replacing thousands of dollars of gear. Pringle switches are critical main disconnects that often fail when the handle does not reset or parts get damaged over years of use. We can provide multiple options to consider - replace with new or reconditioned, or repair existing switch.

A customer needed four elevator shunt trip disconnects immediately. Lead time from Bussman/Eaton was 4-5 weeks. We supplied our enclosed circuit breaker with shunt trip and auxiliaries in a pad-lockable handle as per elevator code. We built from stock and delivered the next day. Our enclosed circuit breakers can be used as elevator shunt trip disconnects. We assemble a circuit breaker, shunt trip, and integral auxiliaries in a NEMA 12 pad-lockable enclosure with a throwing handle as per code.
